The Girl
My name is Morgan and I'm going to be 18 this year. I live in Portage, PA, a dismal drug town. I'm a vegetarian, animal lover, and an athlete. I play volleyball and run distance in track. Plan on attending community college for my general studies and attending Mount Aloysius to study Criminal Justice/Forensic Accounting and hopefully go into the FBI or CIA.

Life's been going okay, you know, the samething everyday kind of deal. I'm getting sick of it but it's most likely to change in a few weeks.
My great-grandfather is 92 years old. A few weeks ago I went to visit him in the hospital because he had a heart attack. I walked in and there was a old woman, she is a reverend or whatever they call them. Priest, minister... reverend, I could care less. Anyway, my poppy was sobbing while he talked to her and he was saying; "I had a good life." She was scaring the hell out of the poor man! He thought he was going to die. (Sadly now his condition is worse and his organs are shutting down) I was going to start crying myself because I love my grandfather and I hate seeing him look so scared and beside himself. As the lady left, I glared at her and her smile turned quickly into a frown. Good. Hope I burned a scary image into her head. Serves her right for frightening my grandfather.
I just wish that there was no death but without death you really can't have new life you know? My Aunt is pregnant with her third child and he will be here any time now. I love babies!
My Aunt Joanna has uteran cancer and it is on a scale of 1 to 5 at 3. Yeah, more sickness! *in case you didn't know, that was sarcasm...* I hope she gets better soon.
Nothing upsets me more than having to write application after application for scholarships to try and pay for a damn college education while other people get a college education handed to them from some high class expensive college because they play sports. Yeah, they may be good at what they do but will most of these so called "Student-Athletes" use this free education to their advantage? No they'll probably take the easy classes just to stay in their sport.
Sometimes I wish I was a good enough athlete to have the advantage of getting everything handed to me but I think I'd rather do it the hard way... Back to trying to find money.
